From sailing regattas to music festivals and lots in between, the BVI have annual island events for all tastes.
March: Organised by the YCCS, this four day event on Virgin Gorda is open for sail and motor yachts, their owners, families and friends.
March: One of the largest regattas in the Caribbean, the perfect wind and water conditions attract over 100 yachts to compete in the 18 classes. Based around Tortola, this is must-do for sailing enthusiasts.
March: The “Crown Jewel” of Caribbean racing – sailors from around the world come to St Thomas for three days of unparalleled competition and excitement.
July – August: Celebrating the culture and history of the people of the BVI, with parades, local music and food fairs. Taking place over two weeks all around Tortola, this extravaganza is certainly something to experience.
November: A six day tennis tournament on Sir Richard Branson’s private home, Necker Island. Legendary professionals play amateurs of all ages and levels in a fun and spirited tennis competition.
November: Starting in Santa Cruz in Tenerife competitors navigate over 2600 nautical miles for the warm welcome in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda.
